Andrew Lownie is a writer and literary agent. His other biographies include one about the Duke of Windsor and his links with the Nazis, John Buchan and the soviet spy Guy Burgess.

Steven Gale is an arts and cultural professional who has chaired more than 600 author events, including at Edinburgh International Book Festival, Emirates Literature Festival Dubai, and Sydney Writers' Festival.
