Pete Brown

Come along to hear Pete Brown talk Tasting Notes and blow your mind with how music changes the flavour of beer (or rather, your perception of it). Pete will be chatting to Henry Jeffreys at Shepherd Neame Old Brewery Store... expect neuroscience, storytelling, music fandom, a lot of jokes and (obviously) beer-tasting notes.

Author, broadcaster, beer consultant and beer lover, Pete is weekly beer columnist for The Sunday Times. His books include Man Walks Into a Pub: A Sociable History of Beer; Clubland: How the Working Men’s Club Shaped Britain. Pete has been named British Beer Writer of the Year many times, among other accolades.

Henry Jeffreys is an award-winning drinks writer who has written for The Critic magazine, the Guardian, Spectator and BBC Good Food magazine as well as appearances on BBC Radio. His books include Empire of Booze; and Vines in a Cold Climate.
